Terms of Service

TackBird is a hyperlocal community app connecting neighbors, building residents, and local services. The app is free to download from the App Store and Google Play. Some additional features are available via a paid Pro subscription.

Creating an account requires a valid email address and being at least 18 years old. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe. Each person may have only one account. You may not impersonate another person, organization, or entity.

You may use TackBird for personal neighborhood and building connections. You may not:

• Post illegal, discriminatory, or threatening content
• Spam, advertise commercial services without permission, or run pyramid schemes
• Attempt to break into or disrupt the service
• Collect other users' data automatically
• Use the service in a way that violates Finnish law

You own the content you publish. By posting content to TackBird, you grant us a limited, revocable license to display the content within the service. We may remove content that violates these terms without prior notice.

TackBird provides a platform for neighbor-to-neighbor help, lending, and service exchange. TackBird is not a party to arrangements between users. You are responsible for what you offer or request, and for the deal you make with another user. We recommend using the trust score (tier system) and reviews to support your judgment.

Pro subscription costs €4.99 per month or €39.99 per year (24% VAT included). The subscription renews automatically; you can cancel at any time from your Apple ID or Google Play account. Marketplace payments are subject to a separate platform fee (10% commission); exact terms are shown before each transaction is confirmed.

We provide the service "as is". We do not guarantee the service will be continuously available, error-free, or fit your specific needs. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the service in the last 12 months, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

You may delete your account at any time from app settings. We may close your account if you materially breach these terms. Termination does not relieve already-due payments.

These terms are governed by Finnish law. Disputes are first attempted to be resolved by negotiation. If no agreement is reached, disputes are resolved at the Helsinki District Court, unless consumer law dictates otherwise. Consumers may also bring matters to the Consumer Disputes Board (kuluttajariita.fi).

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app at least 30 days before they take effect. By continuing to use the service after changes, you accept the updated terms.
